Standard Nuclear Selected by U.S. Department of Energy for Advanced Negotiations Under Surplus Plutonium Utilization Program
Standard Nuclear, a reactor-agnostic producer of TRISO nuclear fuel, today announced that it has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for advanced negotiations under the Surplus Plutonium Utilization Program. The program aims to demonstrate disposition through use by making designated surplus plutonium material available to industry participants and enabling the conversion of those materials into fuel for advanced nuclear reactors.
Standard Nuclear Appoints Kevin Harrill as Chief Financial Officer
Standard Nuclear, a reactor-agnostic producer of TRISO nuclear fuel, today announced the appointment of Kevin Harrill, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 9, 2026. Harrill joins the company as Standard Nuclear scales production capacity to meet growing demand for advanced nuclear fuel from commercial and government customers.
